SOTF presented at IADIS conference

On October 7 Markus Seidl presented the paper "EXTENDING THE P2P AUDIO NETWORK STREAMONTHEFLY FOR VIDEO USAGE AND VODCASTING" at the renowed IADIS WWW/Internet Conference 2006

The video extension for StreamOnTheFly, completed during the last semester at the University of Applied Sciences St.Pölten/Austria, has been documented in the paper "Extending The P2P Audio Network StreamOnTheFly For Video Usage And Vodcasting" (download). This paper was presented last Saturday at the renowed IADIS WWW/Internet 2006 conference in Murcia/Spain - a great success for the project team. Markus Seidl, a lector at the University, overtook the role to present the paper at the conference.

The positive feedback gives hope that new Nodes will extend the StreamOnTheFly network soon.
